Cruelty-Free Beauty

Years ago walking into a store on the hunt for cruelty-free cosmetics or household products was such a chore, having to read all the labels or getting your phone out to Google each individual brand to read that they only go and test on poor little bunny rabbits. More often than not you would walk away from the store feeling disheartened.

Not anymore!

It has never been easier than to navigate a store looking for cruelty-free products, and you won’t just find one brand. Oh no, you’ll find several. *Happy dance*

Tip 12: Look out for the leaping bunny!

First of all let’s talk about why choosing cruelty-free products is important.

The animals – often rabbits, dogs and rats – used in experiments are not only subjected to barbaric tests in which they are tortured, blinded and ultimately killed, but they are confined to small cages and inhumane conditions outside of the test room. Unfortunately, they are bred to live a life of fear and suffering.

Top cruelty-free brands:

They do stock brands that aren’t cruelty-free, but they are really good at labelling which products are (and which happen to be vegan too).
