It’s okay to ask for help!

Following on from yesterday’s post about making vegan friends, I thought it would be an idea to remind you that it’s okay if you don’t feel the need to do that, but if you are struggling in any way with veganism then it’s okay to ask for help. Every newbie vegan has a million questions and often no clue of where to actually start.

Tip 10: Don’t be afraid to ask for help

If you search for your local vegan group on Facebook, e.g. *City* Vegans and request to join if a group shows up, you will likely find an abundance of posts from local vegans, and if you posted a quick introduction and asked for advice, I am sure that the people in the group would be more than happy to help. It will even probably give you some ideas/inspiration when it comes to meals or shopping that you never knew you needed. On Instagram search the same and explore the hashtags/pages if there are any.

Asking for help or advice is not a sign of weakness. It is a strength. You are expanding your knowledge and compassion, you are helping to create change in the world. You will make mistakes along the way, and that’s okay too. We accept it, learn from it and move on.
